Alan Harrison P.G.A. - Club Professional
Born in Hastings in 1973, Alan was an amateur at Beauport Park Golf Club. He arrived at The Royal as Assistant to Richard Wooller in 1997 following the completion of five years of training at Willingdon Golf Club. Alan was promoted to Club Professional upon Richard’s retirement five years later in 2002.
Aside from winning a number of Pro-Am competitions over the last decade, his most cherished playing achievements came when becoming 1996 Sussex Trainee Champion and 1997 Sussex Assistant’s Champion. Alan now spends the majority of his time teaching the members of The Royal, as well as running a well stocked shop.
Laurence Collier P.G.A.- Professional
Born in 1987, having progressed through our Junior section, Laurence has become one the Club's best golfer's.
In 2006 Laurence became Club Champion whilst also becoming the Sussex Boys Champion of Champions. In March 2007 he commenced training to become a Professional & completed this in 2010.
Laurence is an AASE Coach to the Sussex Downs College
